Thanks for stopping by my blog! It’s been quite a while since I’ve made a card or written a blog post. I actually enjoyed my extended hiatus and will probably take a lot more breaks in 2025. Today, I have three cards to share using the new Spellbinders Jack of All Trades collection by Jaycee Gaspar. Spellbinders was kind enough to send me these products. Jaycee is so talented and a great person so I am happy to help promote his collection! I truly love these unique products and am happy that I now have this theme in my stash. I think they make for fun masculine cards or cards for any Vegas or card game lover. For these cards, I chose a color palette and used it on all three cards. It helps focus your creative energy on designing vs color selection. If interested, there’s a limited bundle deal with the entire collection for a great price.

Card 1: Happy birthday, Queen

This card features the Reversible Royal Court die set. I think this is my favorite of the collection because it is so much fun! I started by creating the background. I used the Betterpress system and pressed all four of the Enchanting Suit Facets press plates on white cardstock using Cove Blue ink from Catherine Pooler. I added a light inking around the edges and splattered with black ink. Next, I die cut all the pieces for the queen using scraps of cardstock in my stash. I used Spellbinders, C9, and The Stamp Market cardstock colors. I assembled both queens and adhered with foam tape. The sentiment used the Shuffling Sentiments press plate. I hot foiled the sentiment with opaque white glimmer foil on dark gray cardstock. The spades are from the Pip & Rank die set.
Card 2: Two of a Kind

This 5×7 card features a mash up of Spellbinders products both new and old. For the background, I used a previously released 3D embossing folder of the month, Cross My Heart. I hot foiled the Deluxe Deck press plate using dark gray glimmer foil. On top of the foil since it resists ink, I lightly inked a coral dye ink. I created faux playing cards by trimming two panels down to about 3×2 inches and rounded the edges with a punch. I die cut the suit and ace using the Pip & Rank die set. For extra decoration on the cards, I pressed one of the Enchanting Suit Facets press plates to correspond with the card. The hand is from Bestie Heart in Hand. And I added flowers and leaves from Sealed Wildflowers. Again, the sentiment used the Shuffling Sentiments press plate. This time I used white pigment ink to press into the paper instead of foiling.
Card 3: Here’s the Deal

Lastly, I made a more simple card featuring the Enchanting Suit Facets press plates. I pressed coral ink into peach paper and then fussy cut the heart. I popped it up with foam tape and decorated the card with more flowers from Sealed Wildflowers. I finished the card with the Pip & Rank die set and the Shuffling Sentiments press plate. The card layers were die cut using the Perfect Touch Rectangles.
I hope these cards inspired you to check out this wonderful, unique collection. Thanks for reading!
Happy crafting,
Tiffany

Hi Kim! Great to hear from you. Happy New Year! I haven’t made anything or posted to IG in a very, very long time, so you weren’t missing anything. Thanks for your kind comments about my cards. Yep, I get Monday off – do you? Have you found more time to craft recently? Hope you find more time to yourself in 2025. ❤

Hi Tiffany, I am definitely taking advantage of the 3-day weekend! I moved my craft room to a new space over Thanksgiving and have been crafting a little. I seem to be buying more stuff and then not using it!!! But, I will eventually get around to making cards with all the new stuff! I have lots of ideas, but just haven’t had the energy to create anything! Looking forward to seeing all the awesome creations you will be making! Enjoy your weekend.
